KwaZulu Natal has some incredible nature reserves.

The Hluhluwe Game Park lies in the heart of the historic Zulu Kingdom, once the exclusive Royal hunting ground of King Shaka himself. This is a fantastic opportunity to see the Big Five in action!

Hluhluwe-Imfolozi was established in 1895!

Hluhluwe-Imfolozi was formally established as a game reserve in 1895. It is the oldest officially proclaimed nature reserve in Africa. Today it boasts an immense diversity of flora & fauna – welcome to the African Bush!

We also get to see the St Lucia / iSimangaliso Wetland Park!

Nearby is the lovely town of St Lucia. Geared for tourism it has a lot of activities to offer. From boat cruises on the estuary to whale watching and horse riding on the beach. This is a bird watchers paradise too.

Here you have a unique opportunity to see crocodile, sharks and hippos … all at the same time, and in the same place!

Often people join a hike in the beautiful Drakensberg mountains which is also in KwaZulu Natal and Lesotho.
