In addition to our amazing Drakensberg Hikes, we also offer transport and hiking equipment hire to assist with your hiking adventure in the beautiful KZN Drakensberg mountains in South Africa.

Transfers around KwaZulu-Natal and South Africa.

Drakensberg Hiker has a fleet of extremely capable (and comfortable) 4×4’s and a Kombi that we can use to arrange your airport transfers to the Drakensberg.

What does Drakensberg transport & logistics include?

Fully catered Drakensberg hikes.

When you join me for a hike in the Drakensberg my assistant Sdudla or I will provide and cook 3 meals a day and of course enjoy afternoon tea and cookies.

We have a comprehensive first aid kit that we actually know how to use. Single and/or double tents as well as all eating and cooking utensils.

Other items available for hire are warm down sleeping bags, blow up mats, back packs, a pair of hiking poles and a huge waterproof poncho that also fits over your back pack.

I am also rather proud of my fabulous mess tent which can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people for a wonderful dinner after a hard day’s hiking. Catering for most dietary requirements including vegan and vegetarian is not a problem but be sure to check with me for any special dietary requirements you may have.
